dc.description.abstractThis research develops a process-based risk management framework for sponsors of BOT (Build-Operate-Transfer) power projects. The essence of this research is that risk management should be proactive in nature and focus on during project promotion. The framework comprises the three activities which the sponsor undergoes concurrently in order to effectively manage project risks: (i) Structuring Management Responses; (ii) Risk Modeling and Analysis; and (iii) Pre-Project Planning.en_US
