Issue Date: 1997
Abstract: Two main resources are involved in a calibration process, they are calibration officer and reference equipment. In order to optimise and co-ordinate the use of these resources, scheduling are required. At the moment, these resources are manually scheduled by the process planner. The disadvantages are time consuming, tedious, heavy reliance on experience and memory of the process planner, difficulty in maintaining consistency in editing practices and sub-optimisation of the use of resources.
