dc.description.abstractIn this project, an investigation was carried out to study a degraded austenitic stainless steel plate that was part of a mixing chamber of a stationary gas turbine used for power generation. The plate was severely deformed and was found unsuitable for further service after a long period of service at elevated temperatures and a corrosive operating environment.en_US
