Title: | Application of chilled ceiling cooling with floor-level air ventilation in office spaces | Authors: | Yu, Bo. | Keywords: | DRNTU::Engineering::Mechanical engineering | Issue Date: | 1997 | Abstract: | An innovative air-conditioning concept of a chilled ceiling combined with a floor-level ventilation system was developed in Europe and North America. Full-scale testing results in office spaces equipped with such systems showed that occupants can readily achieve thermal comfort. Currently, chilled ceiling system has not been widely used in office spaces in tropical climates which are characterized by a much higher cooling load, lower clothe value and high relative humidity.
