dc.description.abstract | Mould design is a complex task requiring talent and experience, and is the most critical element in the injection moulding of plastics. Historically, mould design has been based on the experience of the designer. The design of injection moulds includes the design of the feeding system which contains the runner and gate system, the cooling system, etc. Conventional practices in plastic and mould design, drawing preparation are normally done manually and highly relying on the experience and personal judgment of engineers and designers. | en_US |
