Abstract: Corporate Cultures have been studied in many perspectives by numerous scholars and researchers. Corporate Cultures can be studied in two main levels namely the macro- and the micro-level. The establishment of cultural models has been well researched by Western scholars. It is the main objective of this study to dissect the two Japanese automakers, TOYOTA and NISSAN in the light of the models. By so doing, the historical perspective of Japanese culture has been given due attention. Finally, an understanding of the Corporate Cultures could also provide us with some clue to the performances of the organisation.
