Abstract

In April 1991, Singapore launched its most ambitious infrastructure project so far: the IT2000 Vision. Its objective is to put in place, within 10 to 15 years, a ubiquitous network joining every home, school and organisation in the nation, and the reengineering of government, business, and consumer processes.
