Authors: Chow, Poh Heng

Keywords: DRNTU::Business::Finance
Issue Date: 1996
Abstract: Among the various problems facing Small and Medium Sized Enterprises (SMEs), the lack of financing has typically been cited as a major one. This study empirically analyses the loan assessment criteria between academicians and loan officers. The T-test and Multiple Discriminant Analysis (MDA) are used to determine whether there are significant differences in any of the fundamental elements in contemporary credit analysis.
