Abstract

This study focuses on the information-seeking behavior and needs of journalists in information technology (IT) trade publications. The research was done on journalists in Newscom Pte Ltd, a publishing house in Singapore which publishes several major IT trade publications for the Asian region, including IT Asia. IT Singapore. Channels Asia and PC Week Asia. It adopted the questionnaire approach with a mix of lists and open-ended questions for the journalists to select, rank and provide brief answers.
