Abstract

Knowledge-based system (KBS) technology is gaining acceptance in a growing number of organizations. Many managers, however, have little understanding of or experience with this technology, leading to uncertainty in choosing a good KBS application. A manager's primary concern in such a situation is the ability to identify and limit the risk factors.
