Creation of world-class excellence cycle time reduction

Abstract

This report studies the concept of cycle time reduction, and the application of simulation techniques to analyse and improve cycle time in a semiconductor assembly and test factory. The focus of this project is to analyse the factors that influenced the cycle time, and how a generic approach can be adopted for companies to implement a cycle time reduction program.
