Abstract: Computer aided technology such as CAD, CAPP and MRP II used for product design, process planning and manufacturing resource planning respectively are becoming indispensable in many industries that have to cope with rapid changes in market demand and to improve productivity. However, in order to achieve the desired results, the product and process information generated by CAD and CAPP must be integrated with MRP II system which undertakes the management of resources and generation of production plans to satisfy market demand.
