Abstract: Rotator cuff tears are commonly found in the elderly and it is important to study the causes and treatment of rotator cuff tears for prevention and rehabilitation. The objective of this study is to determine the strain behavior of rotator cuff tendons during arm elevation in intact and tear conditions.
