Authors: Francesca Dairianathan.
Keywords: DRNTU::Social sciences
Issue Date: 2006
Abstract: Adolescence is a critical period of development that leads to healthy adulthood and old age. Numerous studies show that teenagers make vital health-oriented decisions that have a direct, lifelong impact on their adult lives and on society. Health communicators have found that teenagers make perplexing choices, but are beginning to appreciate and consider various physical, behavioural and social factors that influence their health behaviour.
