Our main focus being to provide a perspective on two particular shipping trusts in Singapore: Rickmers Maritime Trust (RMT) and Pacific Shipping Trust (PST), especially in their way of financing their assets i.e.shipping vessels. The second part of this case would then go further into the asset finance and the differences in strategy between the two shipping trusts that may contribute to the differences in their respective performances. However, the second part of the case will not be submitted in partial fulfilment of the university requirements for the degree of the Bachelor of Business.
