|Issue Date:||2010||Abstract:||The purpose of this study is to account for why parents wish to home school their children despite having such an internationally recognised education system in Singapore, and to provide a better understanding of the realities of doing so. Interviews were conducted with ten parents, who had been obtained through personal contacts and snowball sampling.
