Design of a user-centered digital library for early childhood

Abstract

This paper describes a research project that explores how a digital library can be applied to early childhood education. It also defines some of the needed functions, content design and organization, and suggested structure of digital libraries for early childhood education, and to explore what roles digital libraries might play in shaping the teaching and learning environments of the future for young children.
