《大学青年南洋大学中文学会文艺刊物初探》： = The preliminary study of Nanyang University’s, Chinese society literary publication “Da Xue Qing Nian”

Abstract

This dissertation is a study of Nanyang University’s Chinese Society literary publication “Da Xue Qing Nian”, published between1959 to 1962. Nanyang University was the first Chinese University in Southeast Asia which faced many obstacles. From this literary publication, we are able to see a rich and varied campus life, the impact of the changing times on the students and even the political and social circumstances of the time. In this thesis, I will examine the contents of “Da Xue Qing Nian” and the literary characteristics of the works in the publications, to conduct a preliminary investigation into the concerns and sentiments of Nantah undergraduates.
