Modeling and querying web forms

Abstract

In the thesis, we present a set of methods for querying and manipulating web forms. Firstly, a general methodology to query forms is proposed. Based on the methodology, a web form model is introduced to represent forms allowing them to be stored locally and used in form queries. We further describe a technique for representation of result web pages returned by forms. A web form query language is then proposed to query forms, obtain result web pages and extract information of interest from dynamically generated pages.
