Cost analysis of internet based PCA manufacturing

Abstract

This Thesis describes the research carried out entitled: Cost Analysis of Internet based PCA Manufacturing. This research first looks into the worldwide Printed Circuit Assembly (PCA) Manufacturing Industries before investigating the trend of PCA Manufacturing in Singapore. A Basic Hardware requirement is then proposed and the cost analysis established. Next, avenues for cost reduction and outsourcing are discussed. The Singapore Government initiatives for e-commerce are described. Finally the advantages of Internet Based PCA manufacturing are presented.
