Abstract: This research aims to provide support for aerosol valve design through components selection such that customer's order are filled more quickly and accurately. This can be realised through providing the aerosol valve design specialist with a structured database components as well as an environment containing information about the AVD process. An Expert System, SAVED, is developed as a suggested solution.
