Abstract: In this project, a Caltron 150B FM receiver was used as FM receiver and its first IF output was tapped out and fed to a AM receiver. The FM receiver made use of the Fairchild FM IF amplifier/limiter/detector chip, ULN 2136A for FM demodulation using quadrature detection technique, and the AM receiver was built from the National AM tuner, IF amplifier and detector chip, AN 7220 for AM demodulation using envelope detection technique.
