Abstract: This report aims to document the development of the Keypad and LCD for the interrogation system to Fiber Bragg Grating (FBG) strain and temperature sensors. Fiber Bragg Grating (FBG) sensor make use of the reflected laser wave in an optical fiber to measure the strain and temperature. The most significant advantage over the traditional normal sensor is its immunity to Electro Magnetic Interference (EMI).
