For reliable operation of network, diagnosis of developing faults in transformer is very important. This project presents a novel and sensitive frequency response analysis (FRA) technique for identifying the winding faults in power apparatus. This technique is a suitable off-line diagnostic method for identifying electrical and mechanical faults of a transformer.
