Abstract: The rapid growth of technology in the last two decades has been characterized by automation in process systems. The advancement of technology in most areas largely depends on the development of Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition system (SCADA) and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC). Due to recent economic crisis in the South East Asia, most of the companies attempt to reduce the operating cost to become competitive in the market. This project finds a solution by developing a cost effective SCADA system so that initial investment and operating cost are very low.
