dc.description.abstract | The thesis presents design and development of a portable VSAT terminal for integrated ST-1 and Intelsat Satellites at extended C Band using dual-band and dual-polarized planar phase array antenna. 21% Input Impedance Bandwidth was targeted over the extended C Band. Detailed studies and design of the various modules of the antenna design are performed. The experimental results are presented. The prototyped sub-array performance and future improvement plans are also discussed. | en_US |
