Novel intrusion detection model for securing web-based database systems

Abstract

In this project, a host-based intrusion detection framework incorporating a two-layer detection model is proposed. With this framework, different kinds of security-relevant data can be processed in a single system, with different intrusion detection methods freely employed. It has algorithms and mechanisms to detect the complex as well as simple intrusion instances efficiently and effectively.
