Abstract: This project aims to setup and configure a multiwavelength unidirectional optical testbed that could be used to test GMPLS implementation source code in Linux OS (currently in the development stage by Laboratories of Information Technology). Individual hardware components must be tested and gradually integrated to form the testbed topology. ‘C’ programs (executed in Linux OS) are developed for controlling some of the network components.
