Abstract: In this thesis, a window-based congestion control scheme for reliable multicast bulk data transfer application, which is based on a multiple windows regulation algorithm (MWRA), is proposed. MWRA employs an ACK-based reliability mechanism to ensure reliable data delivery. The regular ACK feedbacks are also used to piggyback congestion information from the receivers.
