Abstract: This report attempts to address the effect of multipath fading on the design and operation of line-of-sight digital transmission systems in Singapore on which no many reports were presented recently. This report studies ITU-R recommendations on modeling of mutipath fading and propose two methods of outage prediction for narrowband system and one method for wideband system links.
