Abstract: This research paper will be focusing on, how Singaporean working mothers, within the age of 50-58 years old, manage menopause. Open-structure questionnaires, face-to-face interviews and phone interviews were conducted on eight working mothers; four working as full-time and two working as part-time. The overall aim of this research is to investigate on how working mothers perceived menopause and the methods they applied to help in managing menopause. It was found that these women perceived menopause negatively and three methods were used most commonly used to manage their menopausal symptoms. The menopausal management methods were career, religion and going for medical consultation. Keywords: gender role, working mothers, menopause, management, career, religion, medical consultation.
