Abstract: This thesis focuses on the development of novel blind deconvolution algorithms for medical ultrasound imaging. Three different algorithms were designed for restoration of the tissue image. These are the constrained least squares filter, the discrete nonorthogonal wavelet transform, and the symmetrical mirror wavelet solution.
