Development chemical oxygen demand sensor

Chemical oxygen demand (COD) is a very important figure in wastewater treatment. Many measurement methods have been developed to measure its value. This thesis presents the design and development of a fully automated COD sensor built up on an embedded system with RISK 1610C processor. The sensor adopts chemical method which takes ozone as the reagent. The change in concentration of ozone monitored to predict the COD value.
