Abstract: Although historical and cultural research is pertinent to a better understanding of the people in the Southeast Asian region, only few studies have been carried out to understand the people's lifestyles and cultures. We believe that digital resource that reflects the history and lifestyles would have a major organizational and national impact, and would be of interest to universities, public libraries and national libraries that have large user populations, in tens and hundreds of thousands of users, especially in their efforts to preserve and sustain the kind of rare books which require immediate attention.
