Abstract: The extensible Markup Language (XML) has recently emerged as a new standard for data representation and exchange on the Web. As a new standard Web document for data representation and exchange, XML document will also be changed when the information on the Web is changed. The fast and unpredictable changes on this information have created a new challenging problem of detecting and representing these changes. A number of approaches have been proposed to address this challenging problem.
