Abstract: This thesis addresses the distributed constraint satisfaction problem (DCSP). It essentially involves finding a consistent combination of actions that satisfies the constraints among multiple agents in a shared environment, and is a fundamental problem that can formalize various applications in Distributed AI, such as distributed resource allocation, distributed task allocation and distributed scheduling.
