Abstract: The budget airline industry is an evolving business model for a very dynamic and important industry. There are different models of budget airlines: the European, North American and Asian, which are different in their industry structure. While the no-frill value offering is attractive, nevertheless the appropriate business model is important to ensure success. This study will hopefully help to provide some insights that can contribute to establish the key success factors and also provide some insights for other emerging model.
