Keywords: | DRNTU::Business::Finance::Banking | Issue Date: | 2007 | Abstract: | This dissertation is our effort to fulfill our obligation of the Business Study Mission to Germany (Frankfurt, Berlin, Munich, 03-09 November 2006). In the submission below, we would like to present our understanding about the German politico-economic culture that led to the birth and phenomenal success of many internationally reputed banks like the Deutsche Bank. We look into the driving forces of global expansion strategies of the bank, its execution and worldwide spread of its activities since its very inception in 1870. As a special reference to China, we try to figure out lesions learnt from its expansion and how the same could be applied to other banks in general, Asian banks in particular, who desire to go abroad as well as those who already are outside their place of origin. | Description: | 79 p. | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/10356/35923 | Schools: | Nanyang Business School | Fulltext Permission: | restricted | Fulltext Availability: | With Fulltext |
