Abstract: At the very beginning of the stage of applying quality function deployment (QFD), it was used only in some of Japanese companies and got a lot of satisfactory results. This method has quickly attracted many professors, engineers and managers to pay much more attention to deeply research into it. QFD, a customer-driven quality management and product development system for achieving higher customer satisfaction, becomes one of popular tools for product development processes both in manufacturing industry and services. It is also a well-known customer-oriented methodology, which is used to assist companies in developing quality products to satisfy the customer needs.
