Title: | Interferometer utilization in LC2002 spatial light modulator phase retardation and grayscale calibration | Authors: | Wihaga Satya Khresna. | Keywords: | DRNTU::Engineering::Mechanical engineering::Mechanics and dynamics | Issue Date: | 2007 | Abstract: | The phase retardation response characterization of Spatial Light Modulator in twisted nematic liquid crystal display, by implementing interferometer technology, is presented. Two common interferometer types, He-Ne (X=632 nm) and white light interferometer, are used. The generalized interferometer configuration is intended for practical basis in calibrating Spatial Light Modulator in a much convenient way. Applying sets of grayscale levels in several grayscale patterns are intended to obtain SLM phase retardation characteristic on 632 nm and required accuracy around X/255, along with deeper linearity observation towards its behavior as liquid crystal display. | Description: | 116 p. | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/10356/36043 | Schools: | School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering | Fulltext Permission: | restricted | Fulltext Availability: | With Fulltext |
