dc.description.abstract | This dissertation studies the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software selection and implementation methodologies and issues in ERP implementation for organizations. The importance of ERP applications for enterprises is studied in detail. Various functional issues in ERP implementation are discussed which are needed to be addressed by the ERP software implementation. Important of ERP implementation and related issues such as ERP and e-commerce, reasons to undertake ERP for organizations, Return On Investment aspects is emphasized for successful ERP implementation.
