Abstract: The present project elucidates the development of an Integrated ECG-PCG Signal Data Acquisition module that supports the Patient Health Information Management System (PHIMS) to facilitate the implementation of a Distributed Diagnosis and Home Health care (D2H2) paradigm. In accordance with the designed system, the ECG signal and the corresponding PCG signal of a patient are displayed simultaneously on a CRO or a PC/PDA, to facilitate the diagnosis of the subject's heart condition. And as a whole it is the process which provides a total view for enabling rapid assessment of the overall status of the heart.
