Issue Date: 2006
Abstract: This dissertation will report on the process of designing the Virtual Pet Application for mobile phone. Til00 Touch Screen Phone, which is developed by Newgen Telecom Co Ltd, will be quoted in this dissertation. The dissertation will also discuss on the human factors that is applied in the process of the Virtual Pet application design. A prototype method is developed to simulate the application with minimum human resource and low cost implication. The prototype allows the designer to conduct heuristic evaluation and gather feedback for further improvement in the development of the application. During this part of the iterative process, we have also learnt to appreciate the contribution of user centered design in human factor engineering.
