Abstract: The dynamic viscoelastic properties (storage modulus, G' and loss modulus, G") of aqueous solutions of a PEO-PPO-PEO triblock copolymer (F127, EOioo-P065-EOioo) mixed with a PPO-PEO-PPO triblock copolymer (25R4, PO19-EO33-PO19) in water were studied by means of rheology. Pluronic F127 is a water soluble polymer for many biomedical applications. At a given concentration of F127, the addition of 25R4 results in the salt-out like effect on the primary micellization of F127. That is, the critical micellization temperature (CMT) of F127 shifts to lower temperatures with increasing the content of 25R4.
