Abstract: The growing need to develop new technologies that are cost effective have increased considerably, these technologies lead to wide range of applications pertaining to different fields of Engineering and science. Polymers can be grouped as a class of materials that are widely used in the area of optical Engineering and these materials are found to possess good optical properties when compared to that of conventional silicon and hence are being widely used in different fabrication technologies that lead to cheaper manufacturing.
