Issue Date: 2010
Abstract: Security threats had always been an issue of concern in global countries and thus, security organizations had been trying to find ways to detect possible threats by the means of CCTVs to take a real time image of the surroundings of the public places. Have you ever wondered if what can be done to the images so as to detect the possible threats automatically? Our project can find similar behavior in several video sequences and these videos may be from the captured images from the CCTV but for our testing videos, we are using some sample videos like walking and jumping behaviors. We will be researching and implementing algorithms according to the purpose of our project. Finally, we will draw conclusions based on the test results of the algorithm implementation and make improvement to the algorithm so that it will be useful for detecting similar behavior that may convey information about possible security threats.
