Abstract: This dissertation focuses on the design and implementation of improved version of AudioZip software package based on [1] for lossless compression on digital audio waveform. It is based on the new lossless audio compression algorithm, which consists of three parts: A DPCM prediction filter, an adaptive Rice code and LZARI algorithm.
