Abstract: Howling effect is a serious problem in audio system, especially when the system gain is very high and leads to a positive feedback. Its occurrence is due to the oscillation at some frequencies in the system. Some solutions have been found to solve this problem based on the adaptive line enhancer (ALE) theory. In this thesis, three ALE algorithms are studied.
