Abstract: This thesis studies the non-directed indoor wireless infrared communications. In the aim of improving the system performance, the thesis first investigates the characteristics of the infrared indoor channel, then based on the experimental results, a new model of using multiple sources is proposed and simulation results are included to validate the model.
