Issue Date: 2010
Abstract: Since the early days, people have been fixated with reversing the aging process. This package presents an in-depth look into the aesthetic business by uncovering the latest trends in cosmetic treatments and the risks involved when regulation is lax and evidence lax. The second part delves deeper than the physical by examining controversial therapies. The proliferation of anti-aging solutions also raises important questions pertaining to the ethics and internal wrangling among practitioners as doctors assume a new role as merchants of youths.
